Virtual/Fantasy Golf Leagues: What is this all about?

Since you are reading this I can only assume that you are online a lot and probably play golf.  And since you now have gotten this far into this blog this now has been proven as a fact and you have probably joined one or several of the online golf networking groups.  And since I am on a roll on tracking your online interest you have also probably noticed that a few of these golf sites are organizing Virtual and/or Fantasy Golf Leagues.

So, what is this all about?

I like the concept and it seems to be somewhat entertaining if you want to take all of the time to fill in those lengthy Profiles these sites are requiring you fill out before you can into the site to look at what this is all about.  But what benefit does it give you to take that time and get into those links to find people placing non-golfers against a golf celebrity in a Fantasy golf match.  All mixed in with avid golfers who are taking this very seriously and have every stat on every player memorized to pick the best players in their leagues.

I’m still studying this, but I thought I would take a break from filling out all of the details on the Profile to write this blog.  Let me know what you think?
